Virginia Uncorked: Newest Wineries

Jan 28, 2013 1 Comment by

I’ve found that I tend to visit some of the same wineries over and over. Not that it’s a bad thing… I know I can expect a good atmosphere, food, and of course, great wine.

This year, however, I’ve made a New Year’s resolution to venture out to more of Virginia’s new wineries. Some may say that my resolution is to drink more. (That may or may not be my motive.) Virginia has over 200 wineries as of the new year!

Here are a few that opened in our region in 2012. I hope you too will check out the newest Virginia offerings!

Funny my New Years resolution was really to visit a new winery each month!! Jan I went to Paradise Springs, Feb is going to be Bereux, and March is Valerie Hill. I will have to use your list to complete some of my other months.
