Calling all performers and composers (and general fans of listening to music)! Here’s a great opportunity to get in on a very unique event: On Friday, June 22nd, local musicians and composers will be gathering in Old Town Winchester to discuss the schedule for the weekend and determine the instrumentation of each ensemble.  Composers will have all day Saturday to compose their works for their individual ensemble.  Sunday will be dedicated to rehearsals and end with the final performance at 8 p.m. at the Shenandoah Arts Council Building. www.shenarts.org. This event inspires musical creativity and encourages the continuation of contemporary music within the Winchester community.
