Virginia Herb Festival | Sunflower Cottage, Middletown

The Virginia Herb Festival offers a weekend of fun, entertainment, shopping, food, music and learning
opportunities for herbal enthusiasts and all other comers.

The daily schedule of events will be posted on the Sunflower Cottage website and will include programs or workshops each day on subjects such as: “Herbal Folklore”, “Herbal Remedies”, “Essential Oil Distillation” and “Edible Flowers”.

Local chefs will demonstrate their recipes, tips and techniques for cooking with fresh herbs.

The vendor booths will include herbal crafters and products, potters, garden art, fabrics, fashions and more.  Vendors are not be limited to herbal products; but, will include a wide variety of handmade items and foods.

The festival will also feature live music, a wine tasting and tea tasting.  High Tea will be served each day, all day long at a cost of $20.00 per person including tax. Enjoy finger sandwiches, canapes, fruits, salads, pastries, cookies and scones.

Reservations are not required; however, those who reserve before June 8th will receive a discounted price of $15.00 per person.  Reservations may be made by calling 540-671-6000.

Garden Clubs, Herb Guilds, Red Hatters, tour buses and groups of any type are welcome.

(Children 12 and under are free)  All programs are included. Each participant will be entered in our door prize give aways.
