Outdoor Movie Night: Big Night | Museum of the Shenandoah Valley

As a prelude to the Tomato & Garlic TasteFest, the MSV and Winchester’s Magic Lantern Theater present:
“Big Night” (1996, 107 minutes, rated R). Winner of the Best Screenplay Award at the Sundance Film Festival, it tells the story of two immigrant brothers from Italy who own and operate an Italian restaurant in New Jersey. Minnie Driver, Ian Holm, Isabella Rossellini, Tony Shalboub, and Stanley Tucci star.
The Museum galleries will be open from 6:30 to 8:30 and at 7 p.m. students in Shenandoah University’s Community Work Opera Scenes Class will perform (in English and Italian).
The film will be shown outside the Museum at 8:30 p.m.
Murphy Beverage Company will be on site selling wine and beer; popcorn, soda, and movie snacks also will be available for purchase. Please bring your own chair or blanket to sit on. In the event of rain, the movie showing will move inside to the MSV Reception Hall.
